The carry handle also works great and retracts out of sight when you are NOT using it. Having checked other dehumidifier, this is, by far, the best looking unit I have laid my sights on.

Performance: The Frigidaire FAD704TDD 70-Pint Dehumidifier does exactly what it's supposed to - keep the air clean and nice...and suck out the moist from it. BUT it is really loud when running on high fan setting so you may NOT want to place it on a bedroom. Elsewhere, though, the Frigidaire FAD704TDD 70-Pint Dehumidifier is perfect.

Another reminder: you have to leave the upright an hour before you run for the first time. Now if you are living in a cold region, it needs to reach room temperature. Otherwise, it will not work properly.

It removes truckloads of moisture from the air in your room. The space that it can cover is well up to 400 square feet and also, there is no condensation in any of the windows...including those ones that are across the room from it.

One reminder - I don't recommend using the Soleus Air DP1-70-03 70 Pint Portable Dehumidifier at night. This will dehumidify you! Also it's a little noisy and blows cold air. BUT it did an excellent job in keeping the mold and mildew at bay...which is something that constantly worries us here in our area.

Emptying the Soleus Air DP1-70-03 70 Pint Portable Dehumidifier is also a piece of cake. It can also remove at least 2 gallons of air from the room in a day. That's a lot!
