The SPT SD-30E 30-Pint Dehumidifier with Energy Star - this is one heck of a workhorse! This home dehumidifier does exactly what it says in the description. And I won't hesitate buying more SPT dehumidifiers when the need arises.

I once grabbed a unit from Whirlpool and it was good for nothing. After four hours of using the dehumidifier, the bucket that it's supposed to fill with moist from the air is as dry as the Sahara.

And their helpline is NOT helpful at all. I thought they were supposed to keep the line up for 24 hours a day and seven days a week?
